    I read many reviews before I decided where to have my LASIK performed. Mann Eye seemed like the best that I could tell. I made an appointment. When I got there they whisked me away from room to room checking my eye sight. After an hour or two they told me I was a candidate for LASIK. There was a small debate whether I should go with blended or both eyes, but in the end we decided to do both eyes for sharper distance vision. I asked if there was a chance they could perform the surgery the same day. By luck, the had an opening later that day. I left and came back later for the surgery. They check your eyes again and then get you ready for your surgery. The surgery itself probably took about 10 minutes. I know a lot of people wonder if it hurts. They put some drops in your eyes that numb them. Besides feeling some pressure from some suction type of device, you don't feel a thing. I could see the whole time and it was easy. After the surgery you go home and rest for a bout 4 hours. Your eyes will itch during this time. After that, all is good. Just keep putting in the eye drops they prescribed and you are good to go. I can see far distances again. I just went to see the Astros at Minute Maid and it's great to see all around the stadium again. I can see the players on the field and all the stats posted around the game. It's also nice to drive around and be able to read the street signs again. They had a special going on when I went and it cost $3800 for both eyes. That seemed like a fair price to me. The people at Mann Eye were really nice, the price was right and now I can see well. Seems like a good deal to me.

    Everyone from the front desk to the doctors are awesome!! I worn glasses and contacts since I was 13 years old and visited other places prior to having the Lasik surgery and none top the service provided to me from Mann Eye-Main. I am not an employee but a really happy patient! I recommend this place and they are just absolutely awesome!!!!

    Every staff member I encountered during my first visit here was awesome. They were super nice and informative. I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. Bonus, they give a little gift bag when you check-in to Yelp, yah! I plan to make this my primary eye doctor. They did extensive testing, testing I have never had before, and I get exams every year.

    Professional, courteous and friendly staff. Knowledgeable, helpful and the procedure was super fast! I'm seeing clearly without corrective lenses for the first time in over 30 years!

    OK, so I was the biggest skeptic of this new technology but I am so thankful I finally decided to do it. The hardest part was literally willing myself to go into the appointment surgery morning. <br><br>I got my eyes done by Dr. Mann Sr. and he was a great doc to have. He has wonderful bedside manner to calm you down and talks you through the entire process. He truly is amazing at what he does, especially when you watch the video of your surgery it. The video will make you cringe but amazed that you didn't feel any pain! The most uncomfortable part for me was when they held my eyes open for the first eye, it felt a little rough but the second eye was a breeze. You lay down, look at the light, things happen very quickly, and somehow you're walking out of the room. <br><br>Luckily Mann Eye has a financing option or this would not have been possible for me. I went from not being able to see the classroom board sitting five feet away to how seeing 20/15. Maybe I can be one of the cool kids sitting in the back now haha. If you're scared but super over the fact that you aren't functional without your glasses take the leap! This place is professional and will not let you wait around their office long. My appointments were all on time and efficient. Surgery day I was only there for an hour and a half. After the procedure I came home, passed out, and when I woke up I was already cooking and doing everything I had planned to put off that night. <br><br>I am a believer. This is truly a life hanging experience. The investment will pay off through work, school, driving, a walk in the park etc etc. <br><br>I hope this review gives you an idea of how all this works but feel free to message me for specifics.
