I've been wearing glasses for 25 years and never expected to be able to throw away my glasses!on a whim I decided to contact Mann eye and set up an appointment. Every single person I came in contact with was friendly and put me at ease.Seriously. Not one complaint about any of the staff. I ended up needing a revision so I've been seen often and every single person is very friendly. My vision is wonderful, I can see clearly for the first time in 25 years and it's amazing. I no longer have to feel around to find my glasses every morning and it's a wonderful feeling to be able to read the shampoo bottle in the shower.I had my surgery in February and my only regret is that I didn't do this sooner.

I arrived more than 20 minutes early, and was able to quickly verify all my file information at the front desk. I was allowed to wait until my scheduled appointment time in a comfortable room, but 2 patients came expecting to be feed "warm" chocolate chip cookies from a microwave. The day's cookie supply had been depleted by 2pm. My pre-examination went well with a polite and thorough technician. She checked my visual acuity, my prescription lens accuracy, and measured the eye pressure after dilation. We went to wait to see Dr. Green, and only waited about 5 minutes. The doctor was thorough, efficient, and even showed me the internal photographs of my eyes and explained what the future outlook was for my vision barring any unforeseen catastrophe. We finished and went to be shown the lens options, but I elected not to buy new lens since there was not any real change in the prescription. We did discover that the "Crizal" lens coating was worn and showing signs of deterioration that could not be repaired. The optician was quite thorough, and found all possible insurance discounts for my lens purchase, but I still declined to spend over $650 for new progressive polycarbonate, coated lens. Good for another year.

Dr. Claire Chang is the best in the business. She knows her stuff. My sight is in very good hands.

Mann was my first of two or three stops for a consultation for either Lasik, PRK or ICL. They were professional and incredibly informative, so much so that I know Lasik is the best option for me, and even that monovision surgery is an option since my eyes are about two diopters in difference. I like that the use the latest technology (femtosecond lasers and such). It still seems a little pricey given that my eyes are generally a straightforward case without any complications. However, once I make the decision I'll probably come back here.
