We were referred to vision care of Maine by Advanced clinical eye care (who we also loved). My husband needed a cataract removed and Dr Valentine became his new Dr Surgery went well and a couple years have gone by since that surgery. The other day my husbands retina detached. It did take a couple days to finally get it through to the receptionist that this was an emergency and he couldnt see and he wanted to be seen or talk to the Dr immediately. Once he got through to the actual Dr, he was told to come in immediately. Thats when we met Dr. Batlle. He is the reason for this review. This is the kindest Dr. You will ever meet. His nurses came in on their days off to 1 do the surgery and 2 check on my husband the next day. For 2 different nurses to come in on their day off to help support Dr. Battle with the care of his patients, just shows that these people care about their patients and respect the Dr they are working with! Thank you to Kim, Tasha and Nichole! I appreciate you all

The doctor and other staff were very friendly and professional. Communication was thorough and nothing was hid. This is a great place to have your eyes checked thoroughly!
