We love our solar panels and the installation was excellent. Even when we ran into issues (which we figured would happen in a 150 year old house!) Maine Solar Solutions was professional and helpful. They discovered that our roof sheathing needed to be replaced when they began to install the panels. Rather than install them on a bad roof, they called me, stopped installation, and held our place at the top of the queue while we had our roof repaired. It was a bummer, but nice to have Maine Solar on our side throughout! They look fantastic and are generating tons of power.Maine Solar also installed two heat pumps for us. They gave us a recommendation on where to install them within the house and what size to use and they have been spot on - they heat and cool the place perfectly (and are powered by our new solar array!)Great customer service and we couldn't be happier.

Three years ago I interviewed solar about a small installation on my property Maine solar was the best by far Samzuckerman Explained everything thoroughly and took his time To answer all my concerns and questionsAlso I had a choice of different type of panels which other companies did not offer The workers who came to do the install were polite and professional and took care of everything including getting the building permit and were able to complete it in one day

We found Sam and his team to be professional and very responsive to questions during the installation process and after our system was activated. Our 18 kV system with 50 Silfab 360 watt 72 cell panels has done a great job and with this additional capacity, Maine Solar Solutions also installed a 45K BTU Fujitsu heat pump with five mini-splits throughout the house. We are toasty warm in winter months and comfortably cool in the summer with very quiet inside units. We initially considered four local companies and chose Sam's company for a variety of reasons. We have been very satisfied with our decision as we continue to enjoy saving on electric costs, home heating oil and liquid propane fuel costs.

Having worked in both the Green Building Design and Solar Industries our solar system was a dream that was long in the making. When we were finally in a place to move forward, we reached out to a few local installers. Sam and crew were the best in all aspects. Sam's knowledge of the industry and the products was a huge comfort and he quickly gained our confidence. We couldn't be happier with the process or the product! I would certainly recommend Maine Solar Solutions to anyone. In fact we recommend them to our parents who also ended up using Maine Solar Solutions as well. Very happy and extremely satisfied.
