I had a consultation to check if would be a good candidate for Lasik. The tests were thorough and unfortunately I was determined as not a good candidate to undergo the procedure. Though its disappointing, I am glad that Dr. Parker shared the results with me and explained why it would be high risk for me with higher chances of complications from the procedure. I am appreciative that they were upfront about it.

Got a new prescription from Vanderbilt Eye Clinic and went here for new lenses. When the glasses were ready there was something wrong. No mention of my double vision issue. I asked Jackie if there was any way to correct this and she mentioned PRISM, never heard this term before so I researched it and demanded a follow up visit at Vanderbilt where the double vision was diagnosed and addressed. A new prescription was issued and after receiving the new lenses the prism is working to mitigate the double vision. Many thanks to Jackie for helping through this difficult process!
