Dr. Empfield and staff are busy but they were courteous and helpful and I didnt spend much time just sitting around waiting. The Dr. was professional and answered all of my questions and concerns. I had my next appointment and a new pair of glasses and lenses on order before I left. I highly recommend Eye Care Specialists!

I literally begged to be seen as I was at two different doctors and the hospital. The girl at the front desk was so caring and sweet. She said let me see what I can do. All the doctors were at lunch and I was going to go to Geisinger hospital. I asked her to take my name and number and she would call me if someone could see me. Not even 5 minutes later she called me and said to come back. I was seen by Dr. Empfield who spent the next couple of hours looking into my eye and telling me what I should do. I was actually surprised to hear him say I want you to come in tomorrow. This is day 4 that he has spent time with me.
