I cannot say enough nice things about this practice, about how caring Dr. Wood is, about how helpful all the other staff were to me, and how excited I am to get my new glasses and hopefully - the visual acuity text they gave me will show a 30% difference to qualify for medical insurance to cover my droopy eyelids surgery. On Friday when I had the initial eye exam, I told Dr. Wood that I would be given word on the upcoming Monday that my contract wont be renewed, meaning my job could potentially end that day. So - he worked with the other staff to ensure they could see me on Monday to get that test just in case! That to me is going above and beyond, and shows how much they CARE. Its not a corporate shop where were seen and dismissed as quickly as possible. No, these people are in business because they love what they do.In this time and chaos, Im so grateful to have discovered Eye Associates as another one of Gadsden Countys great secrets. They are more than worth the trip, only 15 minutes in my case - but Im a neighbor from Havana. Gotta love the rural life!
