Having received a prior diagnosis of Macular Degeneration, watching my mom quickly go legally blind from this, and not understanding what the progression of this condition meant for me, in 10 minutes Dr Courtney completely explained my condition and answered all my questions before I even gave him my list of questions. Dr Courtney is extremely kind and communicates very well, putting everything in simple to understand layman language. He seems to instinctively understand what the patient is thinking and worried about before you even attempt to express it. He is very reassuring, explains available treatment should the condition deteriorate and is very gracias and willing to be available to care for you in the future. I couldnt have been more pleased with this appointment!!! Totally worth it. In addition, the staff works you through the testing phases in a kind but very efficient manner. Definite 5 star rating. Thank you Dr Courtney!!!!

Am so thankful for Dr. Courtney! I had multiple retinal tears that he repaired and also, later, had a retinal detachment that he also corrected. Im back to seeing 20/20 again and couldnt be happier! His office staff have always been so helpful and he takes as much time as you need to understand your issues. Highly recommend Dr. Courtney!!
