He is very knowledgeable, shares information easily and is one of very few Ophthalmologists who will do both retinal problems and cataracts at the same time. Otherwise it requires 2 surgeries when he does them in one! Excellent bedside manner and friendly!

I loved Dr. Downer. First, my vision in my right eye was almost none. He gave me a cornea transplant and the next day my vision was already improving. My family was so surprised when I started reading captions off the TV screen. He is very professional, very caring, easy to get along with and seems to be very concerned with my well-being. I was referred by my personal dr. and I can understand why. He was just right for me in every way. I am so very happy with my experience.

Love Clay Eye Physicians. Office staff- including Doctors, Techs Front Desk personnel are professional and experienced. I have always been able to get same day appointments for emergencies. I use Dr Levine who. I consider the most thorough and caring Opthamologist I have gone to. He also has a great sense of humor.
