    While on vacation in Okeechobee my husband had an eye emergency, detached retina. My cousin Jan in Jacksonville, recommended Clay Eye and called them to explain our situation. They made a late afternoon appointment for that same day, but said no matter what time we got there they would wait for us. Dr Dupree saw him shortly after we came in. Saw 3 tears and a detaching retina. Even though it was past office hours, he performed Laser surgery. He and his staff stayed long past their hours, were very thoughtful and kind. Dr Dupree and staff continued to work my husband into their schedule for the next 10 days until Dr Dupree felt comfortable his eye was healed and we could return home to NC where he will follow up with his eye surgeon at Duke. Although my husband has had several retina surgeries on his other eye, we were very impressed by the excellence of Dr Dupree. Many thanks to Dr Dupree and his staff. Cabrina Palme
