    My husband had gone to Dr. Hayes for years with diabetic eye problems. He was my first call when I had a problem. He sits in front of you, and LISTENS. I told him I felt like I had a dirty contact in both eyes. I only wear one left lens. He told me I have "eyelash dandruff" and an easy way to control it. It's not curable. Following his instruction, I had it under control in about 2 weeks. He's very personable, and has a natural way of showing an intense interest in your eye health.

    They do really good job on your eyes but the wait time is really unacceptable. I waited for 1 and 1/2 hour past my appointment time to see Doctor Harris in Fleming Island.

    This was my first visit at Clay Eye but I will continue! I had a 9am appointment and was seen right away. The staff was super helpful and friendly and the optometrist was great. Very thorough and explained everything. Great experience!
