I like Clay Eye Physicians. I see Dr Hays for glaucoma and my eyes are doing well. I do not use their optician so I cannot comment on that. They have a good way of moving the patients along so you don't feel like you are waiting a long time.

The clinicians and physicians at Clay Eye Physicians & Surgeons are exceptional, and I guess that leads to the problem I have experienced on multiple occasions which is waiting, and waiting, and waiting to well past your scheduled appointment time. The waiting rooms, yes rooms, are usually full which indicates that appointments are booked closely together, and it only takes one or two people with an unexpected problem to mess up the entire scheduling for the day.

Dr. Hayes confirmed having open angle glaucoma and recommended Latanoprost then Lumigan to lower IOP. Unfortunately, both eye drops did not lower my eye pressure and caused undesirable side effects. On my last appointment, I opted for Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT). Given the success rate of SLT in the country is 80% and the positive effect may last between two to five years, I expect positive outcome. I will keep you posted on the outcome of SLT in the months and years ahead.
