Dr. Messner was excellent, as was his staff. He has excellent chair-side manner. He explained everything very clearly. He was also very accomodating since I was over 30 minutes late due to a traffic accident, but saw me anyway.

I have been seen by Dr. Messner for over 12 years and he has always made my visit very informative and relaxing. Dr. Messner explains in laymans language the results of any tests performed during my visit, and what his recommendations are for any procedures so that I can make an informed decision regarding my eye care. Dr. Messner is assisted by very caring and capable staff at Carolina Eye and I would highly recommend Dr. Messner and Carolina Eye to anyone seeking excellence in eye care.

Since I was a new patient, he was interested in the history of my eye disease and treatment. He will be requesting test results and surgery history from previous providers. He is very knowledgable and I learned he was my late mothers doctor and she was also pleased with his care of her serious eye problem.
