I found Boston Lasik online, and was interested when I read the high rating reviews. I scheduled a consultation online (awesome - very easy), and it is also free. For the consultation, they saw me right away, did extensive testing on my vision, and gave me all the information I would need to know if i decided lasik was right for me. I've been wanting to do lasik for a while now (contacts are too brutal), and I was really excited they were able to schedule me right away. The paperwork was thorough, but not difficult to understand or complete - and they are available so quickly for questions. They were very flexible. I also was impressed with the accolades of my surgeon - where he went to school and where he did his residency (both elite colleges). I did research on the doctor and was also happy to see positive reviews. When I got there, I did not have to wait long again - they keep to their appointments even though I was 5 min late (very forgiving - they didn't even mention it). They test you again, are so kind and gentle when you ask questions, provide you with snack and an overall relaxing experience since this is not an easy thing to do. They were so kind during the procedure, I mean really really gentle and kind. They told me everything they were about to do and spoke with reassurance and patience. I missed my second day appointment, and they give you the surgeons phone number. He picked up on the first call and reassured me I was ok and they would see me in the next few days at your second follow up. Immediately after the procedure, your eyes are sensitive and it is hard around light and not super comofrtable. But you go to sleep (I had no trouble sleeping) for four hours like they say to, and I woke up with vision like I had as a child. That is a crazy feeling. I decided to do this for me, ubered myself there and back since I don't have relatives nearby or anything. And the staff/doctors at Boston Vision made it an experience where I did not feel alone. That I am truly grateful for. I am now testing 20/15!! Thank you again Boston Vision! So happy to have my sight back!
