My wife had an appointment, and I took her to the wrong office. Any other place would have turned me away. Instead, the Brookline office fit me in and provided timely service. This is a very patient-oriented vision care provider.

I had been struggling with my eyesight for quite a few years and had grown tired of wearing glasses, so I asked Boston Vision if I was a candidate for Lasik and they said yes! I booked my appointment with Dr Brenner and was very excited, but wont lie that I was anxious prior to surgery. However, when you get into the office and are sitting in the waiting room and see all the Boston sports players who have gotten surgery at Boston Vision, that anxiousness quickly faded. Surgery was very quick, they prep you by looking at your eyes and getting you settled in. Then before you know it, youre entering the surgery room and laying on the table in the center of the room. The procedure is incredibly fast and the only slightly uncomfortable part is when they suction the eye right before the laser. All in I would say it was less than 10 minutes. Whats incredible is that even leaving the office I could read a text message on my phone without glasses, first time in years! After you get home and rest for a few hours, your eyesight is even better. I am now 4 days post surgery and my eyes are starting to feel less dry and back to normal. I cant believe I walked around this world with such poor vision prior and wish I had gotten this sooner. Easily one of the best decisions of my life and would trust Boston Vision wholeheartedly with anything eye related in the future. Great doctors and great staff!

I got PRK-First let me start with when I went in for my surgery day. I went in got some extra measurements and pictures of my eye. After I went into a room to check that my eye prescription didnt change much since I was there last. Once that was done I was given a Xanax and got my eyes dilated. Before I was going to head in I was able to sit in a comfy chair and was offered drinks/ snacks, although I was too nervous at the time. When they said they were ready for me I went in laid down and was given a stuffed animal incase I needed to give it a squeeze, a blanket to keep me warm, and a pillow under my knees to keep me comfortable. All of these touches made me feel so comfortable. I feel like as soon as I was in and laying down the procedure was done so quick.Currently I am a day post op and I am beyond happy that I did this! When reading some of the comments I noticed people said things were blurry, which made me nervous. How I would explain this is some things seem really clear to me, while other items are there just not as crystal clear. Although those are not as crystal clear I am seeing way better than when I didnt have glasses or contacts on. Obviously everyone is different but so far I have not experienced pain, but I also have been sticking with Tylenol and the eye drop medication (sometimes the artificial tears). Overall 10/10 recommend.
