I have a very high prescription in both eyes to go along with a astigmatism. My doctor recommended the ICL Surgery when I asked about it as oner 30 years of contact lenses use are wearing my eyes out plus I was sick of my whole life wearing thick glasses. I opted for the surgery and they helped me with the financing of who to go through and had the procedure done today. The whole staff and surgeon was so nice and professional and even though I was so nervous, they made it comfortable. So far so good and I am glad I made this life changing decision. I switched from a different eye office to Boston Vision for my eye care 2 years ago and it was one of the best decisions Ive made.

Prior to my eye surgery, I had severe limitations in distant and near vision without my glasses. Swimming without glasses caused me great anxiety and many times I wake up in the morning crawling on the floor trying to find my glasses. It has been incredible to experience life without my glasses. Throughout the process, Dr, Malki and his staff at the Brookline clinic were incredibly kind and patient with all my questions. They were thorough in explaining the whole process and considered all safety precautions. Their knowledge and approach gave me great confidence. I now see 20/20. Never thought this could happen with my previous poor vision. Thank you very much Dr. Malki and your staff for your skill and expertise!

Great experience! Very professional, I want to say that the staff was very friendly and the procedure on the day of was super smooth. So glad to be able to see without glasses again!

When I first met with Boston Vision I was hoping to do LASIK surgery, but when they told me I was not a good candidate, I decided on PRK instead. Ahead of the procedure Boston Vision was great about answering my questions regarding payment and appointment times. They were very helpful and responsive. Although I was nervous on the day of the surgery, everyone at the office was nice and professional which was reassuring. I was most concerned about the procedure itself, especially since I knew I would be awake. However, with all of the medicine to calm me down and numb my eyes it was fine and very quick. For recovery, I definitely suggest using all of the available medicines and buying a cold eye mask. The pain was less consistent than I thought it would be and it mostly felt like I had sand or dirt in my eyes. I was glad I knew the expect my vision to get worse after the first day or two, before it slowly started to improve. Four days after surgery my vision is still too blurry to drive, but I can do most other tasks and the pain is almost all gone. I am very glad I opted for PRK at Boston Vision, I know it will improve my life not to worry about contacts or glasses anymore!
