My experience at Boston Vision was great, originally I was approved to get Lasik in my right eye and PRK in my left, but after staying out of my contacts for a month I was approved the day of surgery to have Lasik in both eyes. They have Lasik days running like a fine tuned machine, every step of the day was clearly communicated and helped reduce nerves. I chose to take the Valium and am glad I did, no matter what it's a different experience watching surgery happen in your line of sight, but I felt no pain the whole time. I was told I would wake up the next day with clear vision, but after I took my 4 hour nap I had perfect vision! I healed really quickly and attribute a lot of that to the experience and skill of Dr. Melki. This is one of the best decisions I've made in a while, and I wish I'd done it sooner, now my whole family wants it done too.
