Boston Vision was great from the consultation to the procedure itself. They were very attentive and answered all my questions. When it came to scheduling they helped me get in touch with my Dr. to schedule the 1-day op and 3-day op. When it was time to actually get the procedure done, they asked what my favorite artist and color were. Setting the vibe really alleviated some of the anxiety that was natural. I'll forever associate Noah Kahan to lasers now. Dr. Melki was communicative throughout the process. When something new was going to happen, I was informed. The staff in the room too; were kind and helping me by telling me to take some deep breaths to help keep my mind off the big machines around me. Once, we got started it took about 20 minutes total. I'll assume everyone's time is different, but it was quick. They had two other Dr.'s check my eyes before heading out to ensure all went as expected. I highly recommend that you have your ride around the area if they can't wait with you for the entire process from check in to check out. That way once you head into the room you tell them to be on site in about 20 minutes. This alleviates the wait time because it does feel a little uncomfortable after the initial awareness kicks off. They told me it would feel like I would be chopping onions, and the feeling was spot on. It was uncomfortable and all I wanted was to be in bed to not feel the burning sensation. Do not skip out on that required 4-hour nap. Once I was up everything felt semi normal. Semi because I was having to adjust to seeing without my glasses. Overall, if you're thinking of getting this surgery do it. No point in waiting if you have the means to do it.

Good start to finish. Did not have to wait beyond 5. Tech and doc were knowledgeable and efficient and explained things clearly. Pleasant office staff.

Everyone was so kind! My family all used to go to some other place, where the staff were typically pretty arrogant and uncaring. But the difference here is like night and day. I felt like the staff here actually cared about their jobs and the people they work with. Would and will definitely recommend

Upon coming in for my appointment, they did some tests on my eyes to make sure that nothing has changed since then and that everything as perfect for the surgery. They gave me some snacks and some Xanax to get me into a relaxed state before guiding me into the operation room. During the surgery, they gave me clear instructions on what to do, and it was completely painless aside from some pressure on the eyes. After the procedure, I was instructed to sleep as soon as I got home. When I woke up, voila! 20/20 vision. It was one of the easiest procedures I've ever done and the whole surgery really lasted 10 minutes. 7 minutes of that was preparation, creating the flap took 2 minutes, and the laser for your cornea lasted 20 seconds total. I would definitely recommend this place again for any future patients. Definitely a very wonderful and rewarding experience!
