After researching LASIK and different providers in the area, I decided to go with Boston Vision based on the reviews and tenure of the surgeons. The consultation was lengthy but thorough and made me feel confident that every box was checked, and it was safe to proceed. The scheduling was very easy, and the Boston Vision staff had an answer for all my questions and concerns. Once I booked a date, I was sent detailed instructions for both pre and post op, in depth videos of what to expect and had the opportunity to set up a pre-op appointment with the doctor performing the procedure. On the day of surgery, the Boston Vision team ran a new more test to make sure there werent any changes from the consultation. They then asked if I had any concerns before the actual procedure. The whole LASIK procedure took less than 20 minutes, and the office visit was less than 2 hours. The key for recovery is taking a 34-hour nap when you get home. I experience minor discomfort for the first few hours, but by the next morning I was able to see clearly, drove to my follow up appointment and was able to see 20/20. Overall great experience and would recommend Boston Vision to anyone considering LASIK
