The staff was very efficient and the exam was straightforward.Dr Makin was very helpful and explained my issue and how we will go forward to improve my vision. Also they provided a sheet with explanation on what I need to do to improve my vision. Written along with the verbal. Follow up in a month to see if there is improvement.

Dr. Makin and staff were amazing. I had an emergency and they got me in within a couple hours of my call. The staff was friendly, engaging and professional. Dr. Makin treated me with care and compassion, and a smile. Going back for a checkup 2 days later was the same great care. I highly recommend this office. Thank you all so much.

This visit I knew was going to be perhaps lengthly since it was a yearly checkup and I would have my eyes dilated. Also, know the problems I hae with my eye, i.e. Macular Degeneration, I knew there would be more in depth checking and questions.Well I was glad to hear that my vision hadn't changed much and that my disease hadn't progressed much since my last visit with Dr. Makin. Dr. Makin and her staff were thorough and took their time with explanations helping me to understand how my eyesight problems are affecting me.I was and am very pleased with the people and services at Westlake Eye Center.
