I would clearly and definitively recommend, Dr.Shiple, Ophthalmic Consultants of Vermont, and the Vermont Eye Surgery and Laser Center. The business model, the overall organization and care was consistent and supported their high professional standards. It was refreshing to be treated well and communication was always clear, honest and well informed.

I felt very at ease with the staff. They were very informative regarding the eye procedure that I was going to have and Dr. Shiple was excellent with his explanation of the procedure and what to expect post-surgery. I have recommended Dr. Shiple to a friend of mine. Their family member will be needing cataract surgery as well.

I had both cataracts removed and the experience was very satisfying. Dr. Shiple is professional, courteous, compassionate (sorely missing in many specialists!) and thorough. I felt confident from the initial visit to the follow-up visits. It is nice to feel the caring that he and his staff present.

I have never been so comfortable and confident at any doctors appointment. From the first visit to the first procedure I just felt that every person that I had to work with were very caring and professional people. I am excited to have the cataract on the left removed.
