After 7 years of my mother going to this facility, they decided to dismiss her. I called in to see why they have taken this decision, and the answer I got was 3 or more no shows in a 12 mo period, where as we didn't have 3 appointments in the last 18 months. We booked an appointment on the 22nd of August, they cancelled it and rescheduled for the 25th, which we didn't have a problem, again it was cancelled. For a lot of times we needed assistance we couldn't get a hold of the primary physician who performed the procedures and had to see another physician. A lot of loop running. Please keep your elders away from this place because they will dismiss them from care and they'll tell you go find them another place for eye care. Very bad experience.

I called to make an appointment for an eye problem. The girl I spoke with initially was very friendly. However, when they checked my insurance, they said I was out of network. I contacted my insurance and the provider was in network. I spoke with Cindy, who was very condescending and refusing to listen that perhaps they made an error. I then contacted my insurance company, And they even contacted the practice and spoke with her and she refused to accept that our insurance was in net work. My insurance company was baffled because they had never had someone refuse them telling the provider was in network for a patient . I requested to have the office manager contact me, but no one has responded. Im not even convinced the office manager was given the message . Cindy immediately said she was in a meeting when I asked for the manager. Very poor customer experience. Cindy did not even want to book my appointment because she said they were not in net work, and that they dont have the wrong information and I would need to be self-pay. Thats not how you should ever treat a potential patient. Would not advise going to this practice. Im sure the providers would be very upset if they were aware of this situation.

My cataract experience with Mid Ohio Eye was a nightmare.Knowing that I had a macular pucker as well as a cataract, my surgeon did not refer me to a retina specialist before surgery. I fault the doctors for the before and after surgery care and follow up practices and have ended up with impaired vision. Quite a disappointment.2) The They knew I had a macular pucker and

Horrible time management! Booked the first appointment in the AM, still 30 minutes late. Told to be at the Eye Center at 9:45 for an 11:15 surgery that didnt even happen until after 1pm! Dont worry though. Theyll give you a whole $3 discount on the $12 parking because theyre so far behind!

Back again today and have been waiting 40 minutes past my moms scheduled appointment time. If it weren't for my mom I would blaze the whole office. You mean to tell me that in 4-9 months that I have been bringing her here you haven't made changes so that the same stuff isn't reoccurring. That's terrible. Sometimes you need to make changes in office so that your patients are satisfied. It may mean not double and triple booking so you actually see your patients on time. You may lose a million dollars a year but your patients may be more satisfied and I think that is more important than you making more millions than you already are. Just my honest opinion.
