I initially went to Mann Eye for a Lasik consultation and was not a good candidate due to my thin corneas, but was informed that ICL may be an option. At the time, this type of surgery was not available at the North Austin location. Fast forward a few months and Mann Eye reached out informing me that ICL surgery is now available! They gave me a great offer and provided a free consultation and pre-op instructions. I felt very educated and taken care of by the entire Mann Eye team. I had ICL surgery at the North Austin location in June 2025 with Dr. Tremblay and it couldnt have gone better! Before heading into the OR, Natalie took wonderful care of me and was so warm and put me at ease. The operation itself lasted MAYBE 15 minutes. I felt zero pain and the only (very mild) discomfort I felt was due to the fact that Ive never experienced being poked in the eyeball before. Dr. Tremblay and his team talked to me throughout the surgery to give simple instructions (of where to look, stay still, etc) and to reassure me. So many more people were involved in the process: laser techs, scrub techs, etc. and I am so grateful for not only their competence, but the warmth and friendliness they showed me! I am still in the recovery period but aside from being cautious with lifting heavy or submerging my head underwater, there really arent many restrictions. After one week, I was told I would have zero restrictions and I can go about my life as normal. Im still in awe that modern technology has come this far and how easy it was!! I have so much appreciation for the whole team from the front desk to post-op. Well see what happens in the next few weeks/months, but overall I am very pleased and confident this will continue to work well for my eyes.

I was very pleased with my exam. The staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Beavers was awesome. He explained things better than any other eye doctor Ive ever seen. I will be back.

Dr Huyhn was enormously helpful in attempting to get a prescription for my dry eyes since having A correction for astigmatism and Cataracts. I appreciated her care and concern. I have been very happy with Mann Eye Institute. Dr. Trembley , Dr Huyhn and the staff are excellent.
