My name is Mercedes E. Villamil and I am a patient of Dr. R. Samuel Cady at Maine Eye in Portland, Maine.I had cataracts removed on Dec. 3, 2019 and on January 28, 2020.Both procedures went exceedingly well. There are not enough superlatives to describe the excellent care I received from Dr. Cady and his staff. Bear in mind that I am an anxious person but Dr. Cady put me at ease with his patient and kind demeanor and his professionalism. I trust him TOTALLY and most highly recommend him.Also, all the office related details, like scheduling, giving information about pre-and post-op details, etc. were handled with utmost clarity, punctuality, respect, kindness.We are most thankful to Dr. Cady for helping me get my vision back to normal in such a painless, pleasant way.Mercedes E. Dr. Samuel Cady is an excellent Ophthalmologist. His high level of education, experience, and knowledge paired with his ability to communicate the facts with patients in a kind manner was greatly evident during many visits to his office. He does not rush a patients time with him, patiently answering questions in a manner that is understandable. Dr. Cady cares about providing his patients with the best care possible. I highly recommend him and the Maine Eye Center.
