Ok, everyone was welcoming and friendly except Dr. Jeffrey Berman, drove an hour so my 7 yo can see him (we were referred by our local Optometric for a follow up) and the second he walked into the room it was extremely uncomfortable. He acted like we were an inconvenience to him, didnt bother to review the chart prior to walking in so hes asking me questions and reading the chart while I was thereHorrible bedside manner; I would never go again.I received a rate your visit text and I didI am yet to hear back from anyone about it which is why I am now writing a review since no one cared enough to follow up with me.6/3/24 EDIT TO ADD:Received a call from Dr Berman regarding my review. He apologized and felt really bad about how my visit had gone. I appreciate the call and acknowledge that making this was wasnt easy. That being said, I am updating my ratings from 2 stars to 4.

Maine is fortunate to have skilled eye specialists in state. Dr. Moore was terrific, surgery was painless and my vision is much better now. There was good follow-up at 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks and one month (for retina surgery). I highly recommend Maine Eye Center.

My current Doctor retired. First time there for me. Recommended by my current optometrist. A very positive experience. Everyone was very professional, thorough and experienced. I saw Dr. Noell Acord. Dr. Acord and her team answered all my questions and addressed any concerns I have with my vision and current eyeglass prescription. The best annual eye exam experience I've ever had. Thank You Dr. Acord!
