I could not be more pleased with my cataract surgery with Dr. Cady. He and his staff were fantastic. I knew I was in kind and capable hands from the beginning to the end. I have had NO discomfort. My vision is exactly as I expected it after surgery. I am elated! Thanks!!

I was a patient of Dr. Berman from the time I was weeks old until I was 22. I see many people complaining about the wait time. I don't think they understand that Dr. Berman is one of the ONLY pediatric eye doctors who also perform surgeries in the state of Maine. He has performed two eye surgeries on me, and seen me yearly my whole life. He may not always be the friendliest, but he is good at his job. He probably would like to spend more time with each patient, but the volume is so ridiculous that he can't. I now see Dr. Whitney Miller, but Dr. Berman told me to go back to him should my lazy eye become more pronounced. He cares about his patients, but has likely had to sacrifice some of his bedside manner for efficiency. The question is, how can we encourage more pediatric eye surgeons to come to Maine? There is a shortage of quality eye doctors. My sympathies to all those with screaming kids, to the kids at the eye doctor's in discomfort, and to Dr. Berman and his staff for being so overwhelmed.

I have never had an experience like this before! Dr. Cady is absolutely the best! I was able to get the surgery I needed quickly and professionally. The staff is amazing and treat you like family. And now I see better than ever. Thank you, Dr. Cady and your staff, you are amazing!

I called on a Wednesday as a new patient experiencing an issue and had an appointment less than 24 hours later with the lovely Dr. Brooke Miller. It's been a long time since I've experienced such pleasant and capable care with a doctor who clearly loves what she does. Staff were all efficient, pleasant and communicative. Large parking lot, convenient location and no complaints. I would come back to Maine Eye Center in a heartbeat.
