There was a lot of redundancy in the process. You spend a lot of time answering a lot of questions then they ask you the same questions verbally. My husband had cataract surgery on one eye one week and the other eye the following week. He was required to come in for a second preop appointment 2 days after the first surgery. This was a burden since we live over an hour from the office. Dr. said it was required by insurance. Dr. was thorough but the information was confusing as she spoke so fast. Learned more about the procedure choices by reading their web sight. I would recommend Lake Austin Eye to my friends/family.

All employees were attentive, answered questions and offered help. Two of us had back to back appointments and we were in and out in 1 hour without being rushed. Weve been going here for 7 years, each of us has had surgeries and always had good experiences and outcomes.

I researched surgeons whom specialize in Fuch's dystrophy for cornea replacement. There are only a handful in Texas. Lucky for me Dr. Cottle was only 85 miles from my home and I was able to see her. She and her staff are absolutely wonderful, professional, easy to work with, caring, compassionate! I had my first cornea replacement surgery in 2016 and had an uneventful healing process. There were no problems, Dr. Cottle, was very attentive and through during each and every appointment. I would not hesitate to recommend her or her staff to anyone! If you want a complete professional and caring experience, give them a call!!!

Extremely professional. Dr. Chan spent a lot of time explaining my very complicated case. Her staff are personable and professional as well. They are very welcoming and efficient. I will highly recommend them and dr. Chan at any time.
