I was a patient of Dr. Taubs since 2010. When Kovach Eye Institute took over his practice, I was apprehensive, however, Dr. Hoang was excellent! Of course, Hector has always been the best -- so knowledgeable and treats me like family. I couldnt ask for better care. I hope to be a patient of Kovach Eye Institute for a very long time.

I was a patient of Dr. Robert G. Taubs for 30 years, and was so sad when he passed away...and I was worried about his successors in the practice (even though Dr. Taub did work with these doctors before his passing). But my fears were unfounded. Everyone is friendly, professional, intelligent, and efficient. They have updated and enlarged the practice with more people and new equipment. Its a little more corporate than it was in the old days--which is no surprise because the practice is larger--but it still has a good vibe, and everyone there (especially Hector) is kind and attentive.

Dr. Kevin Kovach is an excellent doctor. Great friendly attitude and excellent in explaining what will happen to your eyes if you are having CATARACT SURGERY. A little pricey but worth it. Some of the staff from Elmhurst went out of their way to help me with the process. Very sensitive assistants. I would recommend Dr. Kovach. Read about Cataracts and its alternatives before asking questions about any part of the process as he will answer them. The only reason I dont give it a 5 star is because the insurance department had a problem getting back to me on a timely manner.
