Went for my annual eye exam after cataract surgery. Professional and friendly staff. Dr. Kovach does a very thorough eye exam and takes the time to explain everything. Recommend the practice. Just be prepared to wait.

I came to Kovack I institute believe its been two years or more I couldnt see out of my left eye and I had bad vision poles were zigzagged because of my diabetes Dr. Eyemed and Dr. Cole wash I just want to thank them from the bottom of my heart because I am able to see I recommend these doctors to anybody young or old that have issues with their eyes !!!!!

In 1980, I had a freak construction accident, leaving me legally blind in my left eye. Fast forward 40 years, I am now totally dependent on my right eye. Over the years, I developed a cataract in my right eye. While recently visiting my optometrist, Dr. Schandar - Primary Eye Care, for a stronger prescription, he told me the cataract had progressed and was no longer correctable with glasses. He sent me to Dr. Mateen at Kovach Eye where we discussed surgery and IOL options. Dr. Mateen suggested the RX sight light adjustable lense (LAL), stating he could further enhance my vision after the lense was implanted. He was 100% correct.One week after surgery, my vision was 20/30 with 3.00 reading magnification. Five weeks later and two adjustments--one distance and one near-- my vision is 20/15 and 1.00 reading magnification. Truly Amazing!!! I have clear, crisp, focused vision at all distances and light conditions. My vision is the best it has been in 40 years. I do have a small amount of glare while driving at night, but even my night vision is 80% better.On a five star scale, I would rate my experience SIX stars! It takes a little extra patience, effort and time, but it is really worth it. Absolutely remarkable!
