Among the cataract surgeons referred to by my optometrist, I selected the Kovach Eye Institute facility in South Barrington as it was in close proximity to Arlington Heights. During the initial visit at the Eye Institute, a thorough eye examination was performed, and various intraocular lens (IOL) options were discussed including toric IOLs that correct astigmatism as well. I chose Symfony and Symfony Toric--best overall for distance, intermediate and near vision correction. I also opted femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery for its precision and efficacy. The out-patient surgery and required follow-up office appointments were scheduled, and Dr. Kevin Kovach performed the cataract surgery on each eye within a ten day interval at Midwest Center for Day Surgery in Downers Grove, IL. I was very pleased with the results following each respective eye operation. The services performed by the surgeon and accompanying staff at the clinic were efficient and proficient. Pre- and post-surgery surgery instructions are explicit, and a personal call was made the day after each surgery checking on my condition. Dr. Kovach has the unequivocal and essential experience that retains a patient's confidence needed in such procedures. My post-operative results and checkups have been extremely satisfactory with no complications.

The staff and Dr Kovach were supper as always. Very happy with the service and the treatment I received here. Have been using Dr. Kovach for over 15 years. He and his team are great. Highly recommend them.

I had Cataract surgery on my right eye on 7/25 with Dr. Ali. Everything went well. She has the touch of an Angel. Special thanks to Maddie Washburn who set the whole thing up and help me select my lens. She is the person you talk to if have a problem that need solving. If you have the procedure done you will be amazed how much brighter everything is without the Cataract blocking your vision.

Everyone is very professional, friendly and shows care and concern for your individual needs - Dr. Kovach is the greatest! They are very busy so you might wait a bit but it's worth the wait !
