    I have been wearing glasses since I was four and have been told my entire life that my eyes are difficult to fit. Several doctors over the years gave up on me ever having better than 20/35 vision even with glasses. Ive been given soft contact prescriptions that were barely better than wearing nothing. Basically, I never have high expectations when Im walking into a new eye doctor.Man, am I thankful I went to Dr. Charles (Huang)! This guy is the real deal. He was up front and honest about my plan of care and made it very clear that there would be a lot of time involved for trial and error, but that if I was up for it, he would do everything he could to give me accurate vision with a comfortable lens fit. He also set my expectations by saying that there would be a point when he couldnt make things any better, and that hed let me know when we got there.His patience and determination to make me happy is unmatched by any medical provider Ive visited in any specialty. Dr. Charles tirelessly explained why my eyes are difficult to fit with metaphors that I could understand and always made sure I understood next steps and what improvements might be possible with what adjustment and how much time. It must have taken incredible patience to work with me.Unless you have bad eyes, you dont know how much the right lenses change your life. I can go to bars and see the menu board! I can drive and wear sunglasses! I can go for a run and not run into bush branches because I see them too late! THANK YOU, Dr. Charles!Office staff: They are nice to you if you are nice to them, just like at any office.

    I have seen Dr. Kovach for the last 2 years. I had both eyes cataracts removed. I later developed secondary cataracts for which Dr. Kovach removed as well. My left eye had a huge floater that was annoying to me and he removed that. The doctor is very good and personable. You can talk to him about any eye issues and get satisfying answers to your questions. Some of the visits you can be in and out within an hour. Other visits, depending on procedure, take longer, 2 to 3 hrs. Plan ahead

    Got injured last year, and went in for treatment. They helped me through all that, and even called me to check on my progress between appointments. When that was all done, they fit me for some new glasses, and I see much better than I did on my old glasses. Always nice and helpful. Great location for downtown workers.
