    Very friendly and nice staff. Wait time wasnt too bad. Dr. Mateen is quiet and nice.The only thing I was not coming with was staff not wearing masks. I would think if youre face to face with a patient and in a small room, both patient and staff should be masked. I guess eye doctors are not considered health care? The doctor was masked. When I requested for a staff member to wear a mask for me, they did without being judgemental. Hopefully Dr. Mateen can help me.

    Kovach Eye Institute is an excellent clinic that deserves high praise. I had both eyes treated with the lasik procedure. The laser treatment removed the cataracts in both eyes. I also chose the option of having the special lens inserted in both eyes, so that my astigmatism was cured. I now have near-perfect vision and no longer need glasses. This is a WONDERFUL feeling ! I strongly recommend Kovach Eye Institute and I owe a debt of thanks to Dr. Mateen for doing such excellent and precise work.

    I have been wearing glasses for about the last 20 years which started with a bifocal and ended with a trifocal lenses with Astigmatism. Within the last year my right eye became so blurred I became legally blind. It was the cause of a cateract.
