    I went into Heaton Eye in Longview to consult about having LASIK eye surgery. I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Joel T. Muirhead as my doctor. He spent time listening to me about my needs and wants (also my apprehension). As a result he gave me options and choices and laid it all out honestly to include the risks, benefits, and costs. He is a very knowledgeable man that cares. I never feel rushed in their office. The office is well run, organized and very clean. This practice has been designed to offer quality care and to run efficiently. The staff anticipates your needs. They are prepared and polite.My surgery was done in Tyler. The staff at that location has the same approach to customer service. The communication is outstanding and the nursing staff that took care of me before and after were informative and gentle. Dr. Steele was my anesthesiologist and he has a wonderful bedside manner--very calming and humorous. They have Christian music playing in the pro-op area and that was just what I needed to focus on before surgery! Bless them for practicing their faith and addressing all of their patient's needs: physical, psychological, financial, and spiritual.

    Always have a good experience and a great outcome! My cataracts were removed by Dr. HARDIN. I cannot thank, the team at Heaton Eye Associates enough! Everyone went above and beyond to make my experience a good one. Having cataract surgery on both eyes has given me the best vision, that I have had in many years. Sorry that I waited so long. Love and appreciation for all your efforts. GOD BLESS YOU ALL

    Everyone was very professional & pleasant. However the wait time in the exam room, waiting for the doctor was 30min! I hope next time will be better.
