First time to the eye doctor in 6 years and it couldn't have gone better. I was having some trouble with my vision and they examined me and got me what I needed very quickly! Friendly and efficient!! This is how eye care should be!

Yesterday, I had cataract removal & multifocal lifestyle lens implant surgery in my left eye, and two weeks ago had the same operation in my right eye. My post-op appointment this morning confirmed 20/20 vision in both eyes!! There was truly no real pain during, or after, either procedure! I had a tired feeling eye after my first day back at work, so I took two Advil, which completely alleviated the slight discomfort. Not only was it painless, but there are so few limitations afterwards that it was perfectly convenient. I'm amazed that such advanced technology exists, and it's right here in Tyler Texas by Dr. Charles Heaton. I'm already so pleased with my clear vision! Dr. Heaton, a million times I thank you and your wonderful staff.

Dr. Risner has been treating my husband for an eye condition. He is knowledgable, has exceptional bedside manner, and took the time to explain everything and answer all questions. Through the years both my husband and I have seen many eye doctors and Dr. Risner is at the top of our list. Heaton Eye Associates seems very well organized and the staff have all been incredibly friendly and helpful.

I got my Lasik done on 10-14-15 by Dr. Todd Nickel. It is still new to give a full solid feedback but the past 2 days were the most exciting days of my life feeling like I'm being reborn with a new pair of eyes. The outcome is worths every penny of it, money well spent.P.s: Thanks to Dr Nickel and Heaton Eye's staffs( The staffs seem very knowledgeable and friendly).Tuan Vo

I was so nervous about getting lasik. I can't even stand it when they do the puff of air to test your eye pressure.Dr. Heaton and all the staff made me feel warm, welcome, and at ease. The procedure went flawlessly. I did fell a bit uncomfortable on the way home but after a nap I was much improved.The most incredible feeling was waking up this morning and just being able to see... no contacts, no glasses... I could just see.I'm not sure why I didn't do this sooner. Don't wait, call for an appointment today!
