Dr Goel has a wonderful office staff in the Towson office (which is where I have been seen). Everyone is pleasant and eager to help with whatever you may need. Dr. Goel is also very personable and takes time to talk with you, make sure you have all questions answered and then has his very knowledgable staff set up surgery, followups, etc. He has a very thorough patient information folder, with everything you need inside, and has a great coordinator who follows up with you and makes sure everything is done correctly (Great job Samantha!). I have had one eye done so far and went from a VERY high myopia to 20 25 vision overnight (literally). Additionally, I had no pain during or after the surgery. I am looking forward to getting the next surgery soon and seeing again in the bright colors and crystal clear manner I used to!

Dr. Goel changed my life with the eye surgery. The procedure took much less time then I had thought, and I was right back to work the next day. I can see so well and dont need glasses anymore. They were professional and helpful, And not having glasses has helped me in so many aspects of my life.

Goel vision reviewI took a whole 7 months to write this review and want to start out by saying that things didnt go exactly as planned but, in the end, I am very happy with the results. Dr. Goel, Dr. Liggins and the young female doctor who is no longer there, along with the staff overall, made me feel extremely cared-for. Dr. Goel is exceedingly caring. It makes everything better. Thanks to everyone.Im 58, had been very far-sighted with astigmatism and history of a lazy eye in one eye as a child. I needed glasses for everything. I had never been a LASIK candidate in the past. But that changed with time. After a consult with Dr. Goel in March, I was told the plan was for my far vision to be 20/20, but my near vision would need correction with reading glasses, or possibly computer/reading glasses. My goals for treatment were to be able to participate in exercise and training classes and to socialize without my glasses. Those goals were met!As it turned out, surgery overcorrected and/or I overhealed and am now a little near-sighted. However, the nice part of that outcome is that I can now read quite well without glasses for the first time in decades. (I can manage to read a newspaper article and most restaurant menus.) However, my far vision wasnt fully corrected, although it is far better than my previous far vision without glasses. I am legally able to drive without glasses but I can't read highway signs until I am quite close to them. Until I got Rx glasses again 3 months after surgery, I avoided trips to places I was unfamiliar with. After 3 months , I was really wanting some glasses to drive more easily, read more easily and see the computer more easily. To be clear, I can see so much better than I used to without my glasses! My lenses are so thin now, and so much nicer than the Coke bottle lenses that I had been wearing my whole life. I can go to the gym, see all the fine print on the machines, see across the whole room. I can go for a run , go to martial arts classes and yoga classes and see my instructors clearly without my glasses. I managed to do my job for 3 months with only reading glasses, which is nothing short of miraculous. I am a veterinarian. I will say overall, if your plan/goal is not a complete vision fix, the first 3 months are challenging. I wouldnt want to go through it again, but I dont regret doing it.That all being said, here are some tips that would have been really helpful for me, and should be readily shared with patients to reduce post-op anxiety and frustration:1) If you need to drive after dark for work or for any reason, you may be completely blinded by glare for 1-2 weeks so make alternate plans accordingly. The glare may not seem too bad at first but, within 5-10 minutes of driving, it overtakes your visual field. This is scary and very dangerous.2) Yellow tinted glasses (available at Walmart etc) help with glare when night-driving for several months while things continue to heal.3) If you need over-the-counter reading glasses while you are healing, there are nice charts that can be printed out from Foster and Grants to help you get the right strength the first time, which reduces anxiety and saves money.4) If you are going to need a prescription for glasses 3-6 months after LASIK, Dr. Liggans can do that for you. Most of the staff seem unaware of this and it caused some major confusion.5) In addition to eye drops, HydroEye soft gel supplements can help a lot. My eyes feel drier when I forget to take these for a few days. Dry eye can last up to a year or more.6) If you don't experience the expected results, you can undergo another procedure at no charge for life as long as you are still a good candidate. (Im happy with my results and will not be doing this.) Best Wishes!

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Goel and. his entire staff at Goel Vision in Towson. I just had my SMILE eye surgery done last week and everything went better than ever imagined. Dr. Goel's entire staff was always so welcoming and happy. I felt so comfortable and relaxed going into my surgery. Dr. Goel was absolutely amazing during the entire, very quick, procedure. He is so talented and so calming. He's awesome! I wish I had done eye surgery years ago! I would HIGHLY recommend going to Goel Vision if you're thinking about Lasik eye surgery. It couldn't have been a more. smooth and pleasant experience!

From the moment I walked into the clinic, the staff was welcoming and professional. Dr. Goel himself was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything in detail. The examination was thorough, and he used state-of-the-art equipment to ensure accurate results. I highly recommend Dr. Goel for anyone looking for a reliable and caring doctor for their eyes.
