I had the SMILE procedure performed on both eyes in March 2022, 3 years ago. Overall, I feel like I can see in HD. Im happy I had it done. The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained 99% of the process.I had to deduct a star for the poor way the staff handled my questions about the pre-surgery meds. I believe it was 1 Xanax offered. They shrugged and said 50/50 if I would need it. So I passed. I wish I hadnt passed. When the procedure was starting on my second eye, I freaked out and the procedure had to be paused and restarted on that side. I made it through, but I was so upset for the hours after, that I was worried my crying would undo the surgery.

I recently had a consultation appointment at Goel Vision, and I couldnt be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming and attentive. Dr. Goel, was very friendly and explained my options to me in laymans term.I was pleased with the service.
