Was referred to Frantz eye care by my OD for surgery. The experience was as pleasant as any surgery can be. Everyone from the initial visit for the pre op eye exams to the actual surgeries was kind, compassionate and reassuring. All options were thoroughly explained including associated costs that allowed for an informed decision. Dr. Frantz is a compassionate and caring surgeon. Never did I feel like I was just another patient. As Im extremely sensitive to anything that has to do with eyes, I was reassured there would be no pain and would have a positive outcome. The surgical staff and nurses are second to none. Everything was explained step by step as it was happening. The surgical suite is high tech and spotless. (A special shout out to Miss Hilda who made me feel comfortable and valued!) Actually, ALL the staff made me feel comfortable and valued! I understand personal experiences may differ but personally, I only remember the pain free prepping of the eye(s) before the surgeries, going into the operating room and then waking up in recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Frantz and his team of specialists for eye care. Thank you! The world looks brighter and more colorful now.literally!
