My experience with Dr. Frantz having cataract surgery at Frantz Eye Care was excellent. I wanted opinions from 2 highly recommended doctors because I have an unusual situation with ongoing vertigo and only 1 strong eye o the RIGHT. Also my LEFT eye had had a new lens put in by Dr. Hunter near Ocala 10 years ago that had complications and required retinal surgery. I did not want a repeat of that experience. I wanted a smooth and perfect procedure with my one good eye on the RIGHT, and thats just what Dr. Franz and his team gave me. I asked for his recommendation on which of the several lens I should have, and am thrilled with my Pan-Optix lens that allows me to do everything near and far without glasses. There were no halos, glare, or shaded areas after surgery - instead I had perfectly clear vision within 48 hours. Before surgery I wanted to speak with a patient who already had a Pan-Optix lens and they had a woman call me regarding her experience.The other doctor I went to in Naples wanted me to choose the lens myself, and also wanted to remove and redo my older LEFT lens after fixing the right eye. Dr Franz said the LEFT lens just needed a small tweak which he did that first day in the office because the lens was a cloudy. I immediately had good brightness and there was no need to remove and put a new lens in my LEFT eye. This quick procedure was covered by insurance and gave me a good result immediately. It also made me wonder about the other doctor who wanted to redo the lens in my RIGHT when it wasnt really needed. The obvious choice was to move ahead with the doctor I most trusted, Dr. Frantz.The team at Frantz Eye Care was efficient, communicated well and the process went very smoothly. Preparation was thorough and I am thrilled with the results and would trust Dr. Franz with any eye help needed in the future. He and his team have my highest recommendation.

Dr Frantz was such a positive experience. These people are very good at their jobs. They move you right along, explaining everything as you go, asking if you have any questions . You leave their feeling quite confident that you will be in good hands every step of the way.
