When it was finally time to have my cataracts removed, I chose Dr. Frantz, largely due to his nearby location (SW FL), extensive surgical experience and excellent patient reviews. The total experience required eight visits over two months plus two follow-ups. I must say, the effort was worth it! After wearing bi and tri-focals for over 30 years, I am now completely free of corrective eyeglasses! I did a lot of research online and spoke to several friends regarding their experience. There is a great deal to learn about IOLs and there are many choices available. Based on the way I answered my sight preferences survey, Dr. Frantz recommended the Alcon PanOptix IOL for both eyes. However, with further research, I learned that some patients were very happy with a custom blend of one PanOptix and one Vivity IOL. I broached this possibility with several members of the Frantz staff and they secured his agreement. Both surgeries went well and my new eyes give me 20/20 vision! Halleluiah!

If I could give a billion of more stars I would. I moved from New York 15 years ago and was always told to go to the New York Eye and Ear . Dr Frantz you are a miracle worker God blessed you to help patients anyway you can. Your staff is remarkable, The retina Doctor Plous is personable, experienced just unreal. I came to your office as I watched the television commercials with both you and your mom what a son. I knew if I needed an eye Doctor it would be you. I am going for two cataract surgeries in August and I know I have the best that is YOU . I trust in you and I know my eyes will be ok because of you The New York Eye and Ear needs you .

From the moment you arrive at Frantz Eyecare you are treated like a special person. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and professional. Dr. Frantz did an amazing job! My vision is much improved! Thankfully, I can now find my golf ball! Through every aspect of the procedure from examination to postop to preop and the surgery itself, I was treated with the highest care in the industry. I had peace of mind through the whole process. I would highly recommend Dr. Frantz and his entire staff.

My experience with Jonathan Frantz and his staff was exceptional! They took the time to explain my options the steps of the procedure for getting cataracts removed as well as the multi focal lens inplant. Or what is recommended. I wasnt feeling rushed answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable about my decision. As well as a very thorough examination. Other than a timely way to get in to see them it is well worth the wait. I highly recommend!
