    I have an extensive history of eye problems. I am originally from Maine and had many trips to Boston for specialized care for the last 15 years after a head trauma left me partially blind in one eye and floaters in both eyes. I moved to Florida for the Healthcare and weather three years ago. My partner referred me to Dr. Frantzs practice in Fort Myers when I started experiencing cloudy cataract symptoms and no longer able to see, or drive at night or on cloudy or rainy days. I was impressed with this care center from the onset. It is a large operation, a well oiled machine. They have a very large staff in a beautiful atrium style practice, designed for efficiency and aesthetically calming. Every single interaction with staff at every level was prompt, compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, and nurturing. You could tell everyone was happy and proud to be working there together, collaboratively, helping people. I saw Dr. Maxwell Burch for a cataract repair 2 days ago and instantly felt his warmth and professionalism. The self-pay rates are more than fair.The procedure to correct my cloudy cataract took less than a minute, though with pre-and post-op, about an hour. I could see bright vivid colors immediately and my site is getting better by the minute as I heal. Its like seeing the world again for the first time-the beauty, the vividness. If you decide to work with this practice to literally change your life with clear vision, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Dr. Burch, Dr. Frantz and all the wonderful staff.
