I was referred here by my optometrist. Dr. ran tests and told me I had glaucoma. I am 46 years old, so thought I was kinda young for that. But, I listened to him. I put drops in my eyes every day for over 6 months. My eye pressure did not drop, so the doctor asked if I wanted to do more drops or do laser. Long story short -- I was afraid of the laser procedure, so I went to get a second opinion. A battery of tests were run on my eyes. I was told I do not have glaucoma, but rather ocular hypertension. No optic nerve damage. I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Monson and was treated incorrectly under that misdiagnosis. I was using 2 different eye med drops every day, and had bad side effects from the one of them. It appears most reviews for this eye place are good. However, most of those reviews specifically mention Dr. Fite. Because of my personal experience here, I do not recommend this center.

I've had this appointment set for over a month. Had a friend take off work to drive me since I knew my eyes would be dilated. Drove over 45 minutes just to be told they didn't take my insurance when I told them over the phone my insurance... very disappointed. Now I'm driving 45 minutes back home. Wasted my time, energy and gas. Thanks a lot.

Had routine cataract surgery for my dad; and due to unsterile conditions resulted in major infection in eye; within five days of surgery my dad lost his vision in that eye completely. Retina is destroyed due to infection. When I called to cancel the second surgery the office girl acted like I was cancelling Christmas. Told her why and all she said was 'oh'. Now with only one eye, my dad has to find a new normal...no depth perception, no peripheral vision.
