This was my first experience having an intravitreal injection. I was very nervous about having the procedure done. I was so impressed by the quality care I received from Dr. Hovland as well as the other healthcare team members. They explained the procedures in detail and helped me feel at ease every step along the way. I have seen Dr. Hovland three times now for my ongoing issues with my IRD and he is the only retinal specialist that has offered potential treatments for my condition. He is very caring and has an excellent bedside manner.
