I was referred to Dr. Hovland a few years ago by my Ophthalmologist. He was concerned about a growth in my eye that might be cancerous. Dr. Hovland was very professional. His bedside manners are superb. Fortunately for me it was not cancer, but needs to be watched. So I have an annual visit with him and could not be more pleased. My most recent visit occurred a few months ago. Near the end of my examination, I mentioned that I had recently under gone cataract surgery. He then proceeded to to take a look at that not required for my visit but out of concern for me as a patient. He assured me the surgery had been done very well. Every time I go to the office the staff is professional and friendly. I never wait long. This is one of the most well run medical offices I have ever experienced.

Doctor Hovland takes wonderful care of my husband, who has wet macular degeneration and other eye issues that can cause blindness. Thanks to Dr. Hovland for saving his eyesight! Dr, Hovland takes good care of me too, I have dry macular degeneration, which is less serious than the wet variety. I enjoy our visits with Doctor Hovland . He is our friend as well as our doc.His staff are professional and likeable too.
