Had a flash in my eye and then a creepy floater. Went to LensCrafters . Was told probably just need to get use to it unfortunately but set up a 30 day check up. This time they saw fluid and a tare in my eye. It was getting kind of late but they were able to get me into Peter G Hovland. His clinic was awesome. Made having emergency surgery almost a cool experience. I mean if you can avoid it or never have to have it good for you. So highly recommend Colorado Retina Associates in Lakewood

Dr. Hovland is amazing. He is patient and doesnt mind questions. He thoroughly explains the reason for procedures and the expected outcome. His assistant is just as amazing. She is kind and professional

Dr. Hovland has been my doctor since I was diagnosed at 24 years old with eye cancer. He has been nothing but amazing, supportive, and a sense of calm in a storm. He was so great through my surgery and I still brag about him to this day- almost 7 years later. I wish everyone dealing with Ocular Melanoma had a Hovland in their life because truly, Im alive because of him! The other nurses and technicians are always so kind as well. This office is great!
