I have been taking my mother for years for eye appointments with Dr Weingeist. She was diabetic so you need to keep up with eye checkups. Several years ago he performed Cataract surgery on both of my moms eye. It was a quick and simple surgery and my mom was very happy with her improved vision.I started using Dr Weingeist, MD two years ago, and have found Dr Weingeist totally professional and friendly along with his whole staff.At my yearly appt yesterday I asked him regarding cataract surgery and stated both of my sister in laws just recently had surgery, his response well good thing you dont share the same DNA, lol pretty funny.

Always a professional and gives you straight talk about your condition. I've been a patient for over twenty five years as well as my wife and we both can not say enough positives about Dr. Weingeist. Give him a try you will like is caring manner.

I have a "floater" that looks like Casper the Friendly Ghost constantly flying thru my field of vision.Thinking I may have a detached retina I got an emergency appointment the next day.Dr. Weingeist diagnosed it as posterior vitreous detachment, NOT a detached retina.Turns out it's very common, not serious, and often fades or goes away without surgery.Until that happens, "Casper" is my constant companion.
