I have been a patient of Clay for a very long time. They are all very pleasant to be. It's a very clean environment. I have cataract surgery on both eyes. It went very well.Then had to have another surgery on my eyes.I've been to 3 different surgeriesAt two different outpatient services. They were all very clean and upbeat making sure I was very well taken care of.I highly recommend them to all.

Update... still going to Clay Eye! Great experience every time, plus they help you pick out a good look in glassesGreat doctors and staff! Always friendly and very competent. My family and I have been patients of Clay Eye for the past 8 years and always a good experience!! :-)

Dr. Downer is a gifted surgeon and he is kind and caring. He performed my cataract surgery 10 years ago. I have always been extremely nearsighted with a prescription of -21 and -20 ( 20/1000 & 20/800) due to being a micro-preemie baby in the 1960s. My vision now is 20/20 in one eye and 20/30 in another. My surgery has been miraculous for me! Yes sometimes you may have to wait a bit but thid doctor is worth the wait.I had another surgeon, NOT from Clay Eye do my adult strabismus surgery in one eye (BIG mistake). She used permanent sutures which have irritated my eye for the past 5 years! She looked at my eye 4 different times and couldnt or wouldnt resolve the issue!I saw Dr. Downer and in 5 minutes he removed a suture and the irritation was immediately gone! Dr. Downer is amazing and the entire Clay Eye Team is the best. I am very thankful for them!
