Dr Powell and the staff are wonderful. True professionals. Very patient and accommodating. Very nice facility. The opticians are great. The downside is the annoying old lady that answers the phone in the centralized Orange Park location. She is insanely demeaning and a bit rude for no apparent reason the 5 stars are for this facility.

Dr. Downer is first date and both very personable and professional.Karey, Dr. Downer's surgical scheduler is in a League of her own. She's a keeper.The entire staff is a notch above wonderful.William Henry

Had some concerning eye issues. Called and got a same day appointment. Minimal wait times. Super nice office staff.

I had a wonderful, exciting experience with Dr. Downer. Hes witty, compassionate and cares about me as his patient. He and his staff work together as a team. My pre and post surgical procedures were eventful because of Dr. Downers positive attitude, mannerisms and skills. If I ever need surgery again, I wont procrastinate or accept anyone else but Dr. Downer; hes the man

I usually dont write reviews, but I had to for Dr. Downer at Clay Eye. I had surgery in both eyes and Dr. Downer was amazing!! I am what he calls one of his pediatric patients and having cataract at young age on both eyes(lol). I had two procedures done cataract surgery and added Toric lens in my eyes. He is amazing would recommend Dr. Downer to everyone.Wirds cant describe how fabulous he is.
