On a Tuesday, I experienced for the first time a visual problem best described as a prism across my field of view. I called Carolina Eye Associates and described my symptoms to a Nurse Practioner. She told me to rest and it should go away, but if it did not go away or happened again they would get me in. On Thursday, it happened again. I called at 8:00 a.m. and they had me in by 8:30. I was seen by an ophthalmologist by 9:20. It was diagnosed as atypical ocular migraine. I am so glad they squeezed me in. We now know what i am dealing with. Bravo.

I tore my cornea and had to be seen immediately per my regular eye doctor. They worked me in with the specialist that day. Everyone was helpful and patient with my questions, explaining things so I'd understand them. The assistant and nurse were kind and professional. Dr. Sitterson was gently, thorough and never made me feel like she was rushing or dint have time for questions. Everyone was incredibly helpful.
