I had cataract surgery recently and every member of the staff I encountered was friendly, courteous, professional and competent starting with the receptionists, each of the technicians who performed testing, and the scheduler, Rich Kaiser, who took personal responsibility to assure that my request for a specific type of lens implant was accommodated. I cannot say enough great things about my surgeon, Dr. Anna Fakadej who explained the choices of intraocular lenses available, how the surgical procedure would be performed, and what post-op changes could be anticipated. In addition, she was informative and reassuring during the actual surgery. Dr. Rebecca Estes, the anesthesiologist, was kind, caring and professional and I felt completely relaxed during the procedure. Broke Thum, RN, was exceptionally caring and an expert in antiicpating questions and concerns before surgery. Dr. Nicole Apple evaluated me after surgery and gave me practical, timely and useful information about post operative expectations. The entire experience was very positive from start to finish and I will recommend Dr. Fakadej and Carolina Eye Associates to my family and friends.

My doctor and the staff are wonderful and have my complete confidence... the wait time is too long...Two of us waiting had an appointment at the same time and mine was 5 minutes later..
