The efficiency of Carolina Eye Associates out does any other physicians office that I have been to! I do have reservations, however, on the time Doctors spend with patients - at least the two I have come in contact with. Doctors give lots of information as if by rote - without consideration of how the patient is understanding. Yes, they do ask if there are questions, but dont wait long for any answers. When I saw Dr Almony. She gave me a lot of information and because I was rather upset with the diagnosis not all of it registered and I told her that I needed to process all she had given me. She then dictated a memo to Dr Bowling and proceeded to leave. I left - not a very happy camper! I go to Payment(?) area and have this paper presented with instructions to fill out. No explanation what-so-ever-something about somebody paying for the shots. I still dont understand. I do not know how to contact Dr Almony with my questions NOR to get info on what that paper is all about!

Dr. Almony is an exceptional Retinal Specialist. She diagnosed me with MACULAR DEGENERATION and saved the vision in my right eye. She very gently talked me through the eye injections which lessened the discomfort. I am ever grateful for her care and concern.

Having the eyes worked on can be stressful. Dr. Almony makes me feel comfortable and relaxed with her cheerful attitude, smile and her laugh too. Her co-workers really like her and enjoy working with her. Yes, theyve told me. Im released from her care now but if I have any problems in the future Dr. Almony is who I will be going to.
